Course Description: This online radiation safety for nuclear medicine course is excellent refresher training for nuclear medicine technologists and other staff working in nuclear medicine or handling radioactive materials.  Nuclear medicine presents it’s own unique challenges with respect to radiation safety, all of which are covered in this short course.  This course covers fundamental radiation protection principles as well as delivering practical scenarios and demonstrations.  It is designed to meet or exceed Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Agreement State requirements for annual nuclear medicine radiation safety training for staff handling radioactive materials.  Topics include:
