Annual Radiation Safety Audits

An annual radiation safety program audit is an excellent way to evaluate the effectiveness of your radiation safety program and allows you to easily demonstrate compliance with regulatory and license requirements.  We will provide you with a detailed report that will meet annual audit requirements and will identify and discuss opportunities for improvement.

Decommissioning

In order to release a location of use or terminate your radioactive materials license, decommissioning must be performed to demonstrate radioactive materials or radioactive contamination is no longer present.  We provide complete decommissioning services of nuclear medicine labs and other medical radioactive material uses in accordance with NRC requirements to release the facility for unrestricted use.

Patient & Fetal Dose Calculations

We can perform patient and fetal dose calculations for all diagnostic imaging modalities, radiation therapy, industrial, and lab exposures.  We can provide Entrance Skin Dose and/or Effective Dose and discuss potential risks.  We can also advise on appropriate patient follow up and corrective actions.

Survey Meter Calibration

We can arrange annual calibration for your GM survey meters, ion chambers, pocket dosimeters, and scintillation detectors.  Our survey meter calibrations provide for a quick turn around and a cost effective way to have your survey meters calibrated.

Radiation Safety Officer Support

We can provide multiple levels of support to facility Radiation Safety Officers, assisting in the design and implementation your Radiation Safety Program.  Our services range from simple audits to full Radiation Safety Program development.
