MRI Safety Program
A structured MRI Safety Program is an essential component to preventing bodily injury, costly equipment damage, and reducing facility liability. Elements of an effective MRI Safety Program include MRI Safety Training and periodic MRI Safety Audits. We can provide a full service, on-site MRI Safety Audit to assess the effectiveness of your MRI Safety Program. Our audits are based on guidance from The Joint Commission and the 2013 ACR Guidance on Safe MR Practices. For new installations we perform Gauss Surveys to ensure magnetic fields are safe for patients and staff in the surrounding area. We also provide Annual MRI Physics Testing for accreditation purposes.
