Basic Radiation Safety Training
This course provides an overview of radiation safety, including radiation dose and biological effects, sources and types of radiation, common radiation hazards, and techniques for minimizing radiation exposure.
Course Format: This course consists of Lecture Slides, 1 Lecture, and 1 Quiz. Once you have completed the Lecture and Quiz, you will be able to print your Certificate of Completion.
Course Duration: 0.75 hrs
Course Objectives: After this course, you will be able to:
• Understand radiation dose and biological effects of radiation
• Describe sources and types of radiation
• Identify techniques for protecting yourself from radiation
• Identify common radiation hazards
Grading: Quizzes are graded automatically immediately after submission. You will be given an unlimited amount of attempts to successfully pass the quiz. A passing score is 75%.
